Learning to surf is a process. One lesson gets you standing; a few sessions start to make it feel natural.

How Progress Usually Goes
- First lesson: white-water rides and first stand-ups.
- Next sessions: better timing, longer rides, more confident paddling.
- Later: catching waves with less help.
Why an Instructor Helps
