What to Bring to a Surf Lesson in Costa Rica
A simple packing list for your Costa Rica surf lesson: swimwear, sun protection, a towel and more, plus what's already included with your lesson.
You don't need much for a surf lesson, but a few items make it much more comfortable.
Bring
- A swimsuit that stays put when you fall.
- Reef-safe sunscreen, applied before you arrive.
- A towel and a change of clothes.
- A hat and sunglasses for before and after.
- Payment — cash or credit card for the remaining balance.
Leave at Home
- Jewelry and valuables.
- Anything you'd hate to lose in the ocean.
Already Included
- Surf instruction from female instructors
- Snacks, water, soda and beer
- Transportation, available on request
- Optional surfing photos, so there's no need to bring a camera
Before You Go
