The Esterillos area (Esterillos Oeste, Centro and Este) lies along the coast south of Playa Hermosa, part of the long stretch of beaches heading toward Parrita.

These are long, open beaches that are much quieter than Jacó. Surfers visit when swell and conditions suit, but they are more remote and exposed.
