A family surf lesson is one of the most memorable things to do together in Jaco. Everyone falls, everyone laughs, and everyone remembers the first wave someone rides all the way in.

Choosing the Right Format

Group lessons — $75 per person. The whole family learns side by side.
Private lessons — $140 per person. Ideal if one family member wants focused coaching.
A mix. Some families book group lessons and add a private lesson for a child or a nervous adult.

Easy Logistics

Transportation is available — useful if you're staying in Los Sueños, Herradura, Playa Hermosa or around Jacó.
Lessons run 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, so you can fit surfing around the rest of your plans.
Snacks, water and soda are included, with beer after surfing for adults.
Surfing photos can capture the whole family.

Safe, Encouraging Instruction

All lessons are taught by female surf instructors. The location is chosen according to the day's conditions and your group's ability.

Tell us how many people, their ages and experience through the booking form or WhatsApp 1-305-719-5707. A 20% deposit reserves your lesson. Cash and cards accepted.
