Surf Gear
- Two secure swimsuits or board shorts (one to dry while you wear the other)
- Rash guards, short and long-sleeve
- Surf wax and a leash if bringing your own board
Sun and Skin
- Reef-safe sunscreen and SPF lip balm
- Hat and polarised sunglasses
- After-sun lotion
Clothing
- Light, breathable clothes
- Sandals and walking shoes
- A light rain jacket for the green season (May–November)
Health
- Insect repellent
- Basic first aid, including plasters for small cuts
- Any personal medication
Documents and Money
- Passport and travel insurance that covers activities
- Cards and some cash — lessons accept both
Leave at Home
- Wetsuits (the water is warm)
- Expensive jewellery
